A. Summary
Supports agency growth initiatives through digital marketing, social media management, branding efforts, and administrative support activities. This position provides exposure to personal and commercial insurance operations, marketing strategies, customer service, and agency workflows. Opportunities for additional insurance training and licensing education may be offered based on performance and business needs.
B. Essential Job Functions
- Assists with agency digital marketing efforts including:
- Social media content creation and scheduling
- Email marketing campaigns
- Website content updates
- Online reputation management and review requests
- Community outreach and branding initiatives
- Marketing campaign tracking and reporting
- Lead generation and referral marketing support
- Helps maintain consistency of agency branding, messaging, and marketing materials across digital and print platforms.
- Assists in developing marketing campaigns targeting personal and commercial insurance prospects, cross-selling opportunities, and client retention initiatives.
- Assists with organization and maintenance of marketing materials, contact databases, and agency systems.
- Provides administrative support to agency staff as needed.
- Learns basic personal and commercial insurance concepts, agency workflows, and customer service practices.
- Opportunities to attend networking events, carrier meetings, training sessions, or community events may be offered based on performance, business needs, and management approval.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
C. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English for client communication, content creation, and professional business correspondence.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts preferred.
- Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, or similar software preferred.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Interest in marketing, communications, business, or insurance industries preferred.
D. Working Conditions
Fast-paced, multitasking work environment. This position may be performed remotely, or an office environment may be provided based on business needs and management approval. E. Physical Requirements
Must be physically able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. The employee is regularly required to see, hear, speak, sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks. Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds may be required.
